Updated: Oct 14, 2025

This September's NVEST meeting focused on multi-agency information sharing, and featured talks from several great speakers, plus discussion space to help us drive the conversation on systems and technology concerns across the sector.

Around 175 people joined us from all over the country, including key representatives of local and national government, all keen to help make technology work better for children's services.

We'll be in touch with NVEST members soon to provide more feedback from the meeting. In the meantime, the attached slide deck contains material from our speakers on the day, including:

  • DfE: update on the Families First Partnership Programme, and the Multi-Agency Information Sharing programme

  • DHSC: update on the adult social care system standards programme

  • Somerset County Council: data sharing across partner agencies via Think Family approach to "single view"

  • Slough Borough Council: data sharing across partner agencies via Shared Care record

  • Group discussions: information sharing challenges and how NVEST or others could help

Click through to download notes and the slide deck from the day, and look out for news of our next NVEST meeting which is planned for 14/01/2026.
