Data to Insight is not a software supplier in the traditional sense -- we're here to help local authority (LA) colleagues get work done and share it with each other. The best thing about Data to Insight is the community of analysts who are doing and sharing great work through this network.
We recognise that different LAs want different levels of engagement with our work. As such, we offer four key collaboration approaches to suit different users’ information needs.

What does ethical and effective use of children's information look like in practice?
Research in Practice
The Children’s Information Project is an innovative and collaborative project to improve the way that information about and from children, young people, and families is used in local and national government.
Join us for an open access conference in London on 23 September that will mark the conclusion of this project.
The conference will introduce a framework that has been designed to define, map, and support ethical and effective use of children’s information. This was developed together with, and informed by, partner local authorities and a wider learning network.
Designed for practitioners, managers, strategic leaders, or professionals working in early years, performance, and data, the event will offer practical insights and opportunities to reflect on how the framework can be applied in your own context.
Funded by the Nuffield Foundation, the Children's Information Project team comprises of researchers from the Rees Centre at University of Oxford, University of Sussex, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specialist advisors from UCL and The Manchester Metropolitan University, four local authorities and Research in Practice.
